Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2 November 2026 (Asia/Calcutta)
ZappyDude (zappydude.com) is managed by Shri Siyaram Enterprise, India.
ZappyDude ("we", "us") runs a free browser game portal at zappydude.com. This policy explains what information we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. By using the site you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Summary
- Games are free to play. Free players may see ads served by Google. Premium members see no ads.
- Camera and microphone input is processed only on your device and is never uploaded.
- We never sell your personal data.
- Payments are handled by Razorpay. We never see or store your full card or UPI details.
1. Information we collect
- Account data (only if you sign in with Google or an email link): email address, display name and profile picture URL from the identity provider.
- Gameplay data: likes, ratings, favourites, play history, high scores and preferences linked to your account, or stored in your browser if you are not signed in.
- Usage and device data: pages visited, games played, approximate country (from your IP address), browser, device type, screen size and performance metrics.
- Payment data: if you buy Premium or make a donation, Razorpay gives us the payment status, an order or subscription reference, the amount and your email. Card, UPI and bank details stay with Razorpay.
- Messages you send us by email.
2. Camera and microphone (AR and voice games)
AR games ask for camera access to track your hand or face, and voice games ask for microphone access to react to sound. Camera frames and audio are analysed live, in your browser, on your device using on-device models (for example Google MediaPipe) and the Web Audio API. Some word-based voice games may use your browser's built-in speech recognition, which your browser provider may process under its own policy. We do not record, store, upload or transmit your camera video, images or audio to our servers, and none of it is shared with advertisers. If you use the optional game recorder, the video file is created on your device and saved only where you choose. You can refuse or revoke camera and microphone permissions at any time in your browser settings. Many games also offer a touch or mouse mode.
3. Advertising (Google AdSense / Ad Placement API)
To keep games free, we show ads to players who do not have Premium. Ads are served by Google, including Google AdSense and the H5 Games Ads (Ad Placement) API. They appear on site pages and at natural breaks in games, such as after a game over or when you choose to watch an ad for a reward. They never appear in the middle of gameplay. Premium members see no ads anywhere on ZappyDude.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info (or youronlinechoices.eu in Europe).
- Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
- If you opt out, you will still see ads, but they will be less relevant (non-personalised).
4. Consent (EEA, UK and Switzerland)
If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we ask for your consent through a Google-certified consent management platform (CMP) that follows the IAB Transparency & Consent Framework. We ask before personalised ads or non-essential cookies are used. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with the "Privacy and cookie settings" link shown by the consent message. Without consent, Google may serve non-personalised or limited ads, which still use cookies for frequency capping, fraud prevention and aggregated reporting.
5. Cookies and local storage
- Essential: login session cookies (Supabase Auth) and security cookies.
- Preferences: localStorage for best scores, sound and sensitivity settings, and install-prompt choices.
- Advertising: cookies and similar identifiers set by Google and its partners, as described above. They are not used for Premium members.
- Analytics: see the next section.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some features, such as staying signed in, may then stop working.
6. Analytics and hosting
The site is hosted on Vercel and uses Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights, which measure page views and performance in aggregate without cross-site tracking cookies. We also record simple visit and play counts in our database, hosted by Supabase, so we can show popular games and improve the site. We do not sell this data or use it to build advertising profiles.
7. Payments (Razorpay)
Premium costs ₹49/month in India and USD $4.99/month elsewhere. Premium and optional donations are processed by Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. Razorpay processes your payment details under its own privacy policy. We keep payment records (status, reference, amount, date) as required for accounting and tax law.
8. How we use information
We use information to run and secure the portal, keep you signed in, save your progress and scores, provide Premium benefits (ad-free play and up to 4K recording), show ads to free players, measure and improve performance, prevent fraud and abuse, answer support requests and meet legal obligations. Our legal bases are your consent (for example for personalised ads in the EEA/UK and camera/mic permissions), performance of a contract (Premium), and our legitimate interests (security, analytics and improving games).
9. Sharing
We share data only with service providers that help us run the site: Supabase (database and login), Vercel (hosting and analytics), Google (sign-in and ads) and Razorpay (payments). We may also disclose data when the law requires it. Some providers process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, they use safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
10. Retention
Account and gameplay data is kept while your account is active. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete or anonymise it within 30 days, except payment records that we must keep under law (usually up to 8 years in India). Aggregated statistics that identify no one may be kept.
11. Children's privacy
ZappyDude is a general-audience site and is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country, such as 16 in parts of the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Children should play only with a parent's or guardian's permission and should not create an account or make payments. In India, users under 18 need verifiable parental consent before signing in. If you think a child has given us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
12. Your rights (GDPR, UK GDPR and India's DPDP Act 2023)
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, update or delete your personal data, to withdraw consent, to object to or restrict processing, to data portability, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you also have the right to grievance redressal and to nominate another person to exercise your rights. To use any of these rights, email us from your account email. We reply within 30 days. California residents can ask what personal information we hold. We do not sell or "share" personal information for money.
13. Security
We use HTTPS everywhere, access controls and row-level security on our database. No system is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data and will tell you about any breach as the law requires.
14. Changes
We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date shows the latest version. We will highlight important changes on the site.
