Traffic Cop Palm game guide
Goal of the game
In Traffic Cop Palm you play with your hand in front of the camera. Two roads cross in the middle. Hold your OPEN PALM over the STOP sign of a road (left for the side road, top for the main road) to stop its cars. Move your palm away (or make a fist) to let them go.
Every car that crosses safely scores — crashes cost a life! Drivers who wait too long lose patience and go anyway, so keep both roads moving. Power-ups: Freeze (all traffic stops), Slow-Mo, Heart, Shield and Double.
Quick start
Traffic Cop Palm in one line: Hold up your palm to stop a road — keep the crossroads crash-free!
- Press Play on this page — Traffic Cop Palm loads in a few seconds right in the browser.
- Tap Allow when the browser asks for the camera, then read the short tutorial card.
- Play your first run of Traffic Cop Palm slowly to learn how it reacts to your hand in front of the camera.
- After a game over, press Play again to try to beat your best.
Controls explained
- Quick reminder shown in Traffic Cop Palm: Open palm on a stop sign = stop that road.
- Hold one hand about an arm's length from the camera so Traffic Cop Palm can see your whole palm and fingers.
- Move slowly at first: Traffic Cop Palm follows your fingertip in real time, and smooth movements are tracked more accurately than jerky ones.
- If Traffic Cop Palm feels too hard at first, play a practice round to learn the timing before chasing a high score.
Scoring and levels
Points in Traffic Cop Palm come from the code-defined rewards of 10 points for different actions, so the bigger moves are worth chasing. Every 300 points you reach a new level, and Traffic Cop Palm speeds up and sends more at you each time. You start with 3 lives. Your best score is saved in your browser, and signed-in players also appear on the Traffic Cop Palm leaderboard.
Power-ups
Power-up orbs appear every few seconds in Traffic Cop Palm. Touch or collect them to activate:

- ❤️ Extra Life: adds one life (up to six).
- 🛡️ Shield (10 s): blocks the next hit so a mistake does not cost a life.

Characters and world
The 3D world of Traffic Cop Palm features taxis, polices, suvs, deliveries, trucks and ambulances. Learning how each one moves is the key to reading the screen quickly.
Tips and strategy
- Don't chase every pickup in Traffic Cop Palm — grab only the ones on your safe path.
- Rhythm matters in Traffic Cop Palm: watch one full cycle before you act, then act on the beat.
- Save your focus for the moment a Freeze or Slow-Mo starts — that is when Traffic Cop Palm gives you free points.
- With a Shield active, play aggressively in Traffic Cop Palm; the next mistake is free.
- Good, even lighting from the front makes tracking in Traffic Cop Palm far more reliable than a bright window behind you.
- Replay Traffic Cop Palm a few times: each run teaches you the patterns, and scores usually double after the first five games.
Device requirements and privacy
Traffic Cop Palm needs a device with a front or web camera (any recent Android phone, iPhone, laptop or Chromebook) and works best in Chrome, Edge or Safari. Allow camera access when asked; hand tracking runs entirely on your device with Google MediaPipe, and no video ever leaves it. It is free to play; free players may see a short ad between rounds (never during play), and Premium removes all ads.
